Amassinmg what you see around Cotford. Here is a vehicle fuel can by a gas heating exhaust vent and plastic window.

Yes, I moved it behind the rose bush. So its still a little hidden. That makes it about 2metres from the walls, window, gas meter and possible ignition source of the gas exhaust system.
Hope people understand the danger they caused when they realise someone moved it.  Where I stand legally is another concern but the safety issue I think overrides such potential problems. I also noticed recent cigarette butts near by. Where are peoples brains.

Probably a bit of an over reaction. You sure it's not a tumble drier vent? I've seen similar metal ones.

The fuel can is open so it's probably empty anyway. If not, the exhaust gasses themselves wouldn't cause a reaction and I doubt they'd be hot enough to cause an explosion. If they were, I'd be slightly more worried about what looks like the mains gas pipe (unless it's water, can't quite tell).
