Another fabulous Fun Day at The Chapel yesterday----  Smiley

Having watched the Bouncy Castles, Gladiator Arena, Barbeque, etc being set up in the morning, our lunchtime decision to "-----just go over for an hour---"  turned into us still being there near closing time----

Actually, that was Russell and Mel's fault ---- It didn't go un-noticed when I got chilly sitting at the only available table in the garden which was in the shade of the Lime tree and they promptly came over and moved the hefty piece of furniture to a sunny spot ----

---so, comfortably accommodated, we spent the rest of the afternoon with family and friends drinking in the atmosphere of a delightful occassion----

Teatime could have had us returning home--- except for being then enticed inside by the mellow tones of familiar songs being played by the Tone Valley Jazz Band ----

---and by Supper-time the aroma from the kitchen tempted us to, once again, enjoy Saki's cooking----

A big 'Thank You' to everyone who made it such a lovely day---  Smiley

Just been to the chapel for their 80's night tonight. It was a really great night and the atmosphere was fantastic. I can't wait for the next one. Thank you for a great evening to all the staff.

I heard a rumour over the weekend that the Chapel has changed hands again?  I haven't been in for a while; is this true?

I understand ownership has changed since the bank holiday; that was 3 weeks ago!

The Chapel is still run by the same people just a different bar manager. Nothing else has changed, they are still going strong.  Smiley
