I have friends who have visited the Exeter branch and have said it's the best Thai food they have had. I love Thai, my husbands hates it but eats steak and burgers. This is ideal for us.  We love to go out for a meal if we can find somewhere that has a menu that suits both of us, hurry up and open those doors 😃

And a plea from me, Tiger Bill;     can you please do something to stop inconsiderate punters leaving the door open when they troop in  and out for a cigarette ?

Hi Tony

We were looking at that this evening, sat just inside the door as we were. We'll try!

Can I just set a counter-point and say thanks to Sam and her family, along with the staff that have helped out?  I could never reach the energy levels needed to run a pub but I'm grateful that others have made the effort.

The Chapel now is immeasurably better than when she first took over, and I wish Sam luck in the next venture and look forward to 'our local' reaching new heights

Absolutely! Sam has set the bar so high! Hats off to her and we hope to see her lots at The Old Mexican. Anyway, she has a while left, so I will back off and let her continue to be brilliant!

Being a member of the somerset branch of camra I would love to see some decent craft real ale!! Not the cheapest common beer available (which the last couple of occupants opted for)

Sooooo want somewhere in walking distance where I can finally get a decent beer!! We are blessed in this area with loads of high quality local breweries and it's a real shame the two previous licensees ignored them!!

I always found the selection of beers and real ales available in the Chapel to be superb and varied. No complaints there. In fact Shaun always had Cotleigh Brewery on.
Huh

Just found this on the internet today.  Looks promising  Smiley
Tiger Bills opens first pub kitchen concept

By Ruth Williams, 01-Dec-2014

Tiger Bills, the Lifestyle Hospitality Group Thai-grill restaurant brand, is opening its first pub kitchen sites as part of plans to franchise the concept into existing businesses, the PMA’s sister title M&C Report has learnt.

Hi Rachel
Welcome and good luck with your venture - looking forward to sampling the new menu.

Random request of the day: any chance of cleaning up the 'no parking' graffiti?! It was obviously a problem but reckon a small, smart sign would achieve the same without the visual impact of spray paint!
