I just have to congratulate the staff and Key-stage 2 children for their superb rendition of 'Alice in Wonderland' performed over four days this week!

Amazing! From the 'audience- warm- up- crew', dressed and made-up as characters from the story, who mingled amongst us on our arrival, welcoming us with hand shakes and offering tea and wine ( and then declaring there wasn't any!); through to the stars on stage who danced, acted and sang (accompanied by, it seemed, a hundred-strong choir); the Narrator who guided us through the events unfolding; the back stage boys producing the special effects such as the ever-rising pool of tears; the scenery designers; the make-up artist; the costumiers; ------- an hour and a half of wonderful entertainment!
So to Alice, her sisters, the White Rabbit, the Cheshire Cat, the Duchess, the Caterpillar, the Mouse, the Mad Hatter, the March Hare, the Dormouse, the King, Queen and Knave of Hearts and all the Playing Cards, the Executioners, the Cook, the Mock Turtle, the Griffin, the Lobsters, and all of the cast -----------Congratulations-------(and Thank you!)
