Oh, thank you so much, villager 2!  Smiley

It was lovely for everyone there to meet you, too. Your and Mandy's presence reduced the average age of the group considerably!!

(I almost missed your post, [or I would have replied sooner] due to being involved in a three horse race that was happening at the time you posted!)

Will look forward to your next bout of Annual Leave - perhaps your husband could arrange some holiday at the same time!

Henry, you won't believe this but-------

I was just wiping the dishes and I thought "Oh, I didn't mention Henry when I talked about 'youngsters' being present yesterday!"

Consider yourself now well and truly mentioned and appreciated for turning us from a group  'approaching middle age' (!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) to a group of juveniles!  Wink

----and it's all happening again tomorrow!

Those who were discovering the delights of Cornwall last week will be back with us sharing their adventures and we will also probably be hearing from others about the joys of 'Skype'!

Several of us will be having lunch - and some will just join us for a drink so we've booked a big table for an unknown number ---Shaun and Kim will accommodate us no matter how many come along!

Looking forward to seeing you------- Smiley   (12.30-ish.)

My husband had the day off work today and joined us for lunch at The Chapel. He, also, enjoyed the time spent in this most amicable of atmospheres!

We were sorry (and missed!) some who had hoped to be present but were unable to make it today and we look forward to next week when one couple will be celebrating their wedding anniversary that day!  Smiley

I'm going to have to try to make an appearance. Sounds too good to miss.  Wink

Thank you to everyone who came to the Chapel for lunch today!

Shaun and Kim have put on a special lunchtime menu - two courses for less than a tenner!

We all had a meal today as we were celebrating David and Mo's wedding anniversary and it was lovely to have Norman, who's recently moved into the village, join us and Anvil who is just back from his seafaring voyage.

Do come along and join us any Wednesday 12.30pm - we look forward to meeting you---- Smiley
